Beverage delivery took a long time and with few guests. The food was disastrous. Unfortunately not to be recommended. 1 star is only because the beer tasted least.

During a bike tour on the 100 castles route, stop off spontaneously and eat delicious (spare ribs) and drink. Very nice service. Ideal for a bike break in an idyllic place - always happy.

You can sit outside very nicely. We sat rather isolated and had to wait for ages for the fact that the table was freed from dirty plates. Until we could order, it took a very long time and until the drinks came. Can happen - but both me and a lady of the next table went to the counter several times to draw attention to us. So it came about that we drank a drink from arrival to payment in 90 minutes. Actually, we also wanted to eat something, but have us measured by the waiting time then later preferred somewhere else. Maybe we'll come back next summer .. Everyone can have a bad day .. But should it go like this again: never again! My time is too bad for that. Maybe you could obviously better support not yet worked-in temporary help to avoid something like that.

We were last night for family dinner with 7 people at the Düstermühle. There are not too many dishes on the menu. Everything is lush and lovingly selected. Also for vegetarians there is an offer, with the majority of the food includes meat. It's thought of everything and cooked great. The staff are totally polite and visibly enjoy the work. What was made of the Düstermühle, convinced. Everything is brighter and friendlier. The history of the restaurant is visible and was well maintained. Staff extremely rude! !!! Had to wait over 1 hour to eat! After demand when we would get the food because the cheesy answer of the service "is not their fault if we did not contact us earlier that the food was not served" not recommended and for the portions totally overpriced! !! Once and not again !!! We had hoped for more after the change of owner! !

Expectations were not met. The waiters were very late and rarely look. We also had to wait a long time for the food. What a la carte offered and ordered by us, not everything could be served. Based on experience, I would not go there again.

Were there last weekend to drink coffee. The previously agreed prices were not met and we had to pay 5 € / person more. After about an hour we were no longer brought cocoa, as this was empty and instead of the offered nut cake, we got a piece of tangerine cake. Were asked at 16:30 clock to leave the store. Unfortunately was disappointing, even if the wrong delivered cake tasted good.

Wheat beer and very cozy terrace. It is very old. Actually, I wanted to the gloomy mills market ... ? Was only a day later. Nevertheless it is worth it. Nice attentive staff.

We were here today as a family. Schnitzel, chicken nuggets and burgers. I can not fault it. And overall: delicious! Never really have eaten such a delicious burger with fresh ingredients anywhere else. Portions all more than adequate, anticipated bread with dips. Also delicious! We also saw other dishes pass us by: everything extremely lovingly and elaborately prepared. The eye definitely eats here. Service very attentive and fast. And something that is very rare in the Münsterland: a perfect supply of drinks. The new chef or the new service are an absolute asset and I can only recommend all in all only unrestricted.

We had a wonderful wedding celebration in the country inn. Michael (owner) and Anita (manager) gave us wonderful advice and support throughout the process. Without their help, the festival would not have been such a success! We were able to bring the agreed decoration to the country inn the day before the celebration, which was then largely attached by Anita with her good eye for detail. So we could use the time before the big day in a relaxed way. Our wishes were also carefully considered and supplemented with the management team's own ideas. The food was very good. We had a large selection of Münsterland and national dishes, which our guests really liked. There was also no shortage of drinks at any time. Especially the wines that we selected with Michael beforehand were a highlight. His self-created Düstermühlen nightcap can only be recommended. The staff was very reliable and friendly. We had an open-ended party and the staff was there right away at 5 a.m. Conclusion: We would celebrate with and in the Düstermühle again at any time! Thanks for the great service! Today we went to the grill buffet at the Düstermühle. The ambience was just fantastic. For this purpose, there was still a musician today, who provided even more cosiness with his beautiful music. The food was the highlight. Have rarely eaten so well. The restaurant is definitely recommended. Thanks to the team for these wonderful hours.

I was there with a cyclist group of 22 people for lunch on a Sunday in beautiful weather. The order was made by phone about an hour before the arrival of a small menu. The food in the beautiful beer garden was great and was served very quickly by very nice ladies. A special recommendation for groups. Special thanks to Mr. Schaedel for the organizational process.

Very well managed gastronomy in all areas. All staff very friendly and competent in all matters. Thank you for the hours we were allowed to spend here as part of a confirmation.

Nice place to drink coffee! The coffee tastes very good here. It's especially nice to sit outside. We were here when the dark mill market was. The inn is rustic and inviting. A nice stop to stroll through the market afterwards.
